Shipping  Policy

1. Shipping /Collection Options: 

 

  • Option 1: Collect from our premises, at 169 Blueberry Street, Honeydew, Roodepoort. Please ensure the final proof of payment has been sent to us before collecting or sending your courier.​​

  • Option 2: Your order can be dispatched by courier service on small parcels of 2 kg max weight, within Johannesburg and Pretoria, and will be charged R100. We reserve the right to use the most economical courier option. Urgent orders that need to be delivered in the fastest possible time will require the courier charge to be calculated. Large consignments and deliveries to outlying areas may incur a surcharge.​

 

1.1 Standard Shipping 

​

  • Duration 1 - 2 Business Days (Excluding weekends and public holidays) within the main city centres

  • ​Ordering processOrders are packaged and handed over to the courier service provider promptly after an order has been placed and payment confirmed. 

  • Delivery Times: Orders placed before 13:30 are shipped the same day for the working day delivery or the day after (excluding weekends, public holidays, and regional areas). Orders placed after 13:30 on a Friday will be shipped on Monday. 

 

1.2 Shipping Rates 

 

  • Johannesburg and surrounding areas: 

       Flat shipping rate of R100 for parcels up to 2kg in

       Johannesburg and Pretoria main areas. Surrounding areas

       have a flat shipping rate of R100 for parcels up to 2kg. 

       Thereafter, the rate is calculated based on the weight of the 

       parcel. 

  • National Shipping : 

       The main city centre has a flat shipping rate of R156 for

       parcels up to 2kg. Areas not included in this list fall under 

       regional areas with a flat rate of R156 for parcels under 2kg.

  • Free delivery to your door:  For R850 or more on your order, your order gets delivered for free within South Africa.​

  • Important notice: Please choose the right shipping fee when you check out, to ensure that your order does not get delayed. In the event you are unsure about the shipping rate applicable to you, please contact us.

 â€‹â€‹2. Gift Of Note charges a standard shipping fee of R100. Free delivery applies to orders of R850 and more, including VAT.


3. We use The Courier Guy for our order shipping; they will ship your order to your door. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number that can be used to track your order on their website  https://www.thecourierguy.co.za/tracking/

4. We use PUDO by The Courier Guy for our deliveries; they will deliver your order to a Locker near you. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number that can be used to track your order on their website https://www.thecourierguy.co.za/tracking/

5. We use PAX for other deliveries, especially for customers living in the smaller towns and semi-rural areas.  Your order will be delivered to your nearest PEP Store. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via the SMS that will be sent by the store, which can be used to track your order on their website https://www.paxi.co.za/track-a-parcel  

 

Return/Replacement/Damage Goods Policy

​

 

1. No returns on personalized items, because customized items are not resalable. 

​

2. Returns/refunds can be made on items if you are not completely satisfied, provided they have not been used and are still in their original packaging. Unfortunately, we can not refund delivery costs made for the original purchase. Return charges for the item will be at the customer's cost. 

​

3. In the event of product dissatisfaction caused by Gift Of Note, we commit to resolving the matter to the best of our ability. We will strive to replace the product promptly, and if we are unable to meet the deadline, we will offer a full refund. Any concerns must be lodged within 48 hours of order receipt. Send us an image of the damaged item.


4. Self-damaged or tempered products, attempts to fix or alter products without consulting Gift Of Note will void any refund or correction. Standard fees apply for correcting tampered products, without consultation.

5. Upon agreement on a refund, clients must return the product within 7 working days in a proper condition. Refund eligibility is contingent upon the product being unused and un-tampered with. Courier fees will be refunded upon receipt of the courier company invoice.

​

6. Gift Of Note is not accountable for replacing or refunding products if the client approves the layouts/invoiced products. Standard rates and fees apply for any required corrections.
